    Preparation for my magazine

My pop magazine will be called ‘Pop Monthly’, the reason why I have come to a decision to call my magazine this is because the genre of my magazine is pop and my magazine will come out to the public once a month, so through the title of the magazine definitely relates to my magazine.  My magazine will be sold nationally other than just the UK, as I believe my magazine will get more noticed and purchased. In my magazine I will include images and texts that relate to international pop artists around the world such as Canada, where the pop singer Justin Bieber is from. I am planning to price my magazine £2.99 as I found out from my survey results that most people would pay that specific price.

This is a Photo test shot of the boy band 'one way' that i have chosen to feature as my main image on my magazine front cover. I have also chosen for this band to be the main feature on my double page spread which is a question and answer article of the boy bands musical career. when i take the final photos they will be dressed differently, doing a different pose and in a different setting that relates to my magazines target audience which are young females aged 13 to 16 years old that are interested in pop music, as it is a pop magazine.

These are two practise shots of the music couple of the year i am featuring on my front cover , they are called Jude Biebs and selly gomes, this will be a small image on my front cover magazine with text underneath that inform the reader that their relationship status is presented in the magazine. this image will relate to my pop magazine because both are in the pop industry and from my survey i found out that indivduals would like some gossip to read in their future pop magazine.

This is a draft image of the band member 'Romeo' from the boy band 'One Way' that are being featured in my pop magazine, I may redo this image with all the boy band members present so it looks more noticeable that the image portrays the boy bands popularity as there are fans looking excited and taking pictures while the boy band are present in their company. when I redo this image again so it looks more effective towards the target audience I will place it on my magazines double page spread as a puff that attracts my target audience to join a competition to get chosen to meet the boy band, the reason I am doing this is because within my survey I found that many individuals like a magazine with special offers, so I will do one that attracts to my target audience.
